Wow. What an experience! I attended the 2019 Referral Adventure Trip through BTA (Breakthrough Academy) in connection with Baja Bound Builds, Baja Love Outreach, and Greatness Collective in rural Mexico. We built two homes for two families living in very challenging conditions. We also had the very real and heartwarming opportunity to visit multiple orphanages for the day, making meals and playing with the kids. It was so powerful to work alongside other trades doing good, with the profound opportunity to see the keys being handed over to the new homeowners and their children.

This experience left such a lasting effect on me and has me wondering where to go next with this? How can we continue to support this community? How can we support our own community? I would love to hear from any companies that might be interested in co-sponsoring a build in Rural Mexico or anybody that might be interested in joining our own team. This is an incredible way to give back to those that need it most, whilst strengthening connections among those involved as you work for a greater good. I would love to continue this discussion!
